Made a trip to southern Illinois and stopped at Gordon and Donna's in White Hall. Great visit! Was able to see Ronny Martin and he wanted me to give all of the Koontz's a hello. Aunt Donna and I were able to make it to the Greene County Court House where we were able to find some new records that I will get up soon. While we were there she also ran into a few of her relatives, only further proving my hunch that everyone in Greene County is related. She was also able to give me some new photos. Thanks again Aunt Donna!

OK - I talked to Dad last night and I think that I understand the problem. I am listing the changes I make to the site under New Stuff, which is a list, and were not clickable links. Most of the what I list there is changes to the family trees, which are found under "Family Profiles". So for instance if you would like to see Ralph Koontz's teaching certificate, you have to go to Family Profiles, Ralph M Koontz, and at the bottom of his page you'll find the path to his certificate. I think that I can correct this by making the New Stuff "clickable". Try it out - perhaps that'll help!

Glad to see that so many are responding to Kathy and her setting up the reunion. It will be so nice to see everyone!
Cubs started Spring training yesterday, can Spring be around the corner?

Up last last night doing research and I got pretty excited to find the first Revolutionary War member of the family, William McAdams. While I don’t have the proper documentation yet, the ladies of his line should be eligible for membership with the Daughters of the American Revolution society. I’ll work to get his record and lineage proof up as soon as I can.
Now, for the strange part - While he is certainly a member of the Nash line, he may also be related on the Whitworth line. I haven’t done my due diligence as of yet, but I got a pretty good feeling on this one. Stay tuned…

Got an email on the status of my DNA testing. Looks like it will be ready around the 18th of March. I wonder why it takes so long?
The weather seems like it's going to give us break, after the past few weeks I'll take the 30's that they are calling for.

Well, I woke up to +10 degrees, 20 degrees above yesterday at this time and after going outside with the dog, I was actually thinking that it was pretty warm! What the heck? 10 and it feels warm? Some things just aren't right.
Memory Lane was added to the front page as Austin wanted to see some old photos. I've gotten a lot of requests for more photos and as soon as I can find a good software package I'll get more of them up.

Woke up to -10, pretty cold for sure. They say it's going to get to 38 this Sunday - I hope they're right! Little jealous, (Well a lot jealous) of my Aunt Donna right now who is sitting in Cancun. Boy spring can't come soon enough.
